I've been exploring a darker side. Initially I was inspired by the work of David Levinthal that took childrens toys and took the childlike nature of them away and put them in exotic or violent scenarios. It made me think of my own persona and how people generally see me as a bubbly, smiling person but everyone has a dark side whether people ever see it or not. I wanted to put myself in the role of a victim and take away the willing sexual context of s&m that is in a lot of erotic art.
